Don't see much hope for it in Stock, but it would make one hell of a Pro Stock platform (That thing got a Hemi in it???)

Re: 2012 Fiat 500

being a fiat, better stick to 1/8 mile tracks, i don't think it could run the whole length of a 1/4...

I could drive one into the back of my wagon and bring two cars to the track on one trailer!

How about a Drag Pack version with the Viper V-10 rated at 300 HP, mid-engine mount with a ZF transaxle?

Re: 2012 Fiat 500

That thing is a Cadillac compared to the car I rented on my honeymoon in Spain in 1972.
Got a Seat 600(Spanish built version of a Fiat, pronounced See-ot).A little tin can with an air cooled moped engine in the rear,4 speed trans,no radio,no A/C,manual brakes and steering and seats from a carnival ride.Took it on a 400Km trip to the northeast area where I had family.it was fine at 120Kph.At 130Kph the whole car lifted and floated,I guess because of the full undersided belly pan (it was unibody).Gotta admit it didn't use much gas in the two weeks I had it.

There is sort of a Drag Pack version available. The "Fiat 500 Abarth Assetto Corse" has a 190hp turbocharged 1.4L, stripped interior and factory installed roll cage. At 2072 lbs it has a 10.90 factor.

Re: 2012 Fiat 500

Fiat has always had a small narrow car in production, the streets in most Italian cities are very narrow. Only major roads and highways are what we are used to size wise. Same thing for England, some places only a small car will do. Plus lets not forget they pay twice what we do for fuel.

PS I want to see Teuton get in one !

Re: 2012 Fiat 500

Come on guys, quit picking on the Fiat. It comes with a 40 inch lawn deck, a six pack cooler and air conditioning. Way ahead of the other small car guys.

LOL
