Sitting in line in the parking lot. I am #6 so I should get a great parking spot! There are about 30 other rigs here. The track official who is handing out the parking numbers says they will let us in at 8am tomorrow morning. The weather forcast has no rain in it and it is beautiful right now for sure! Let the bench racin begin! Jim

Gezzzzzz.....Getting there on a Wed, for a points race. Does that mean you have to be there on a Monday about a month early for the Gator's. You guys are NUTS !

It's a little after 4pm here now and there are easily twice as many rigs here now. I've already made new friends and heard about the adventures of several racers who had to stay in the new WalMart parking lot because they weren't alowed in the track until today. Something about a half naked lady walking a dog right by the rigs yesterday. I'll have to get the whole story and report back. Bye for now. Jim

Dang, I should have parked over at the WalMart. I'm down the street at the KOA and the best looking dog walker I've seen is Jimmy Parker. Thankfully, he had all of his clothes on.

1pm and this place is filling up fast! They park you where they want you and NO saving spots for your buddies. There are still some spots on the asphalt. They actually put Stock and Super Stock in good pit spots! Had an NHRA official come over and ask if we were happy! WOW! You could have knocked me over with a feather! Tech has been open since 11am and it was surprisingly thurough considering they just saw us last week. All say they are happy with the new DD guy. It shows, they all have better attitudes. I'm pitted with Gary Russell, Jim Marshall, Jimmy Parker, Pete Noriega, and Dick Kincaid. Where's Ortiz? I'm hungry! Jim
