Paul I don't think it is a B block, I think It's a small block, as In a B block in a Duster would be a GT class I think ?

It is a 383" with a Holley.

"B" block? I'm afaid I don't know what that is. Sorry, I'm MOPAR illiterate.

Mopars have 2 differant big blocks, they are raised blocks as in 426,440, and early 383s, RB blocks , Low Blocks are 361,383,400 cid ! None of these were avilable in an A Body car as a Duster ,only slant six, or small blk's , such as 318,340,or 360's ! See you are no longer Illiterate in MOPARESE! ..........John

It's a '70 Cuda 383 car .. nice job Mike and Paula .. same combo Dave Boertman ran in a '70 Challenger years ago ..

Ed Wright 02-21-2011 03:26 PM

Re: Mike Cotton

Yep, Chuck has it right. It's a 'Cuda. (Did I say that right? lol)

It's painted (not a wrap) kinda like Allan Johnson's Pro Stocker. Looks very nice. Runs very nice.

10.09 first round and now going into the fourth round!

SStockDart, the reason Mike and Paula are such good folks is because they are from Oklahoma.

Yeah, can't wait. Have you seen the specs on that engine? And it's rated 4 hp lower than mine. That's 40 lbs lighter. Probably should end up in H eventually. They haven't been timid about running one hard and taking their hits in the past. Those guys are sharp enough to not need bogus hp factors to be fast.
