Well it was a long but fun day at Maple Grove on Saturday. I left my house at 2:21am on Saturday morning and got back home at 2:34am Sunday morning!! :) So here is the first round of Eliminations for Super Stock:

Thanks again everyone. I wanted to visit with more of you guys and girls in the pits this weekend, but being there just the one day I didn't have time. These are great! Your sound is awesome also. I like that you follow the whole run and we can see the dial in's and what they actually ran along with the win light! Keep up the great video! Oh yeah..... we want MORE!!! Jim:D

Great video. I even posted a link to them on my facebook page.

I noticed you seemed to almost always start with the slower car then pick up the faster one. I could not understand it until I realized the faster one always caught up to the slower one and both ended in the video together, nice touch.

I look at the difference in the dial in, depending on how much time between the two cars depends on how close I zoom in to the car with the slower ET. This is the biggest reason I do this freehand then with a tripod, although the tripod keeps a steadier shot, you lose the ability to zoom in and out so the picture is too far away and you don't see the cars as well. I tried a monopod but then the angles are wrong. I'm a sucker for wheelstands, so if it is a big stick, I follow that car regardless.

Thanks Mark. Nice seeing you at the track and hanging out for a few minutes. Sorry you had to go home early. The car hooked and ran awesome....a suggestion as a camera guy...loose the wheelie bars! lol
