frenchie's new toy

I am new to the forum, my name is Steve Lecours out of Whitby, Ontario, division 1 chassis inspector, long term NHRA employee dating back to 1974.
Just wanted to share with all my friends my latest aquisition - The Gremlin X, stored since 1977 and purchased 3 weeks ago from the original owner.

Thats very cool. Thanks for sharing. Where was it stored in the guys living room? Too clean to have been in a shed or garage.

Brings a tear to my eye.My first gremlin,a 1973 with a 304 V-8,auto ,P/S,P/B,A/C in pewter silver, made in Brompton Ontario.I know where the car is now, after I owned it for 25 years. It's sort of still restorable. If I got the cash I'd like to buy it and do it back to original.A lot of good memories of that car.
Good luck and enjoy the car.

Hi and thanks for viewing the video. The car was stored in a heated garage with the upholstery kept in the basement. The car underside is as clean as the top. It had never seen rain or snow. The car is a time capsule. Having lots of fun with it.

Don't overdo it with the burn outs Steve,or you'll be replacing axles before you know it!
Did you get to check out those other parts ?
I'll bring you a list of part #'s to Epping if you are going/

Hi Tom, I have not had a chance to check the parts, will do on Monday.
I spoke to Don about the seat belts (shoulder harness) and a radio or blank out plate, he has located them and will get them to me at Epping.
I am leaving for Epping on Wednesday, see you there.

Hi Kris, good question, I had to look that one up myself. If I were to race it in stock eliminator it would be an L/SA with the original 304/2V motor.
