Can anybody tell me where they line up at? I should be there in a couple of hours. I'm sure there should be plenty of signs, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Toby, take exit 49 on I-85 and follow the signs directing "Haulers" and it will take you past the dragstrip main gate on Bruton Smith Parkway (go figure) and at the light turn right and go around the NASCAR track...turning left at the stop light just as you get past it. Gate P is what you're looking for and they stage in a big field. BIG place...

Wife could have given better directions but best I can do...LOL

Toby,
Glad see you coming south. Would like to meet you and thank you personnally for the great videos and pictures. I take a few myself. As far as staging, I know in the past they stage most of the pro rigs across the street from the strip, but sportsman might be in another location.
Hope the weather holds out for the week-end. Gonna be a cool one on Friday and the week-end.

Just follow Brutton Smith Blvd right up to the Speedway- Make a right and then the 1st Left and look for the Sportsman line-up sign on the left and follow the arrows.- behind the Speedway. There are about 25 or so in line as of 4:30 today

Thanks everybody. They did have some huge sportsman signs like I figured they would.

Seems to me it would be easier to get there the way I came out. I came out of the "A" entrance which is right next to the field where they are lining up. Instead of taking a right on Concord Parkway take a left and go in the "A" entrance. That way you don't have to go all the way around the speedway and you avoid the two huge speed bumps. Maybe I'm missing something?

Run schedule says start at 10, everywhere else it says 9. Can someone please tell me when ya'll start? I'm driving up Thursday and might could get at least another 30 minutes of sleep.

I checked the schedule on the trailer and it's the same as above. 10 on Thursday and Friday and 9:30 on Saturday.

Well it's thursday afternoon, and we just finished up stock and ss timetrials for the day.
Temps have been about 89, with mid 40 humidity and 29.30 baro. (slight tail wind all day).

I heard that several motorhomes were vandalized again this morning during the first stock time trial session. (heard they were after wallets again)..

I will have some pics later.

Feels like the rain is closing in on us. Hope she's gone by the morning. it's supposed to be 25 degrees colder tomorrow (high of 61 predicted!).

Where's the security ? All the money to build Z-Max but you can't leave the trailer to go race the car ! Please don't let me hear any BS about the northeast tracks. Seems, they cannot wait for the racers to arrive. Like shooting fish in a barrel. What a shame !!

Well, I've thought about it and I think you can consider these last five races my "farewell tour" for posting videos. I will do this race, Phoenix, Vegas, Vegas and Pomona. Things could change in the off season, but I doubt it. I proved that it can be done, even when racing. It would be much better if I had a 4G phone so I could upload faster from the track and do 720p all the time, but the 360p videos weren't too bad. It's been fun ...

On to the videos. I'm doing all the videos from this race in 720p. The internet connection I'm using isn't that fast, but it's way better than my phone. I have it set up to upload the videos overnight. If you subscribe to my channel you will get an email telling you a new video has been uploaded. Or you can go to my youtube page and look on the bottom left where it says recent activity and find the new uploads. I will move the videos to the Charlotte playlist in the morning. I don't know if all of them will get uploaded before I have to go to the track, but we'll see. I will be uploading Stock first since they get neglected.
