Well I made it. Yes I'm sorry I left the Hill's off the list. My fault. It's sunny and 90 already. Going to be a hot weekend. What else is new. Today is tech only. Ill try to get some pics after some cars get unloaded. It's going to be a good weekend. My son is back with me this weekend. He missed the last race in San Antonio. I never race without him. It wasnt much fun last time out. More later.

The Southland crew is loading and leaving at various times today, and early tomorrow. Couple hemi cars, couple DPs, stock truck, corvette, and I think that is all I saw so far. The V10 ain't coming, it's getting souped up for Dallas I think, but then what do I know. I talked to the Hills, but them Hilbillys ain't coming, Hill, Hillbilly, has a nice ring. Better have a nice ring, Larry is 6'8". Sam Lusco bought a nice pusher, so look for an already nervous guy, to be extra nervous. More as the day unfolds.

Jeff, get Joe & Lil Joe to go ahead and fill out the papers to adopt me. I listen to the Youtube video of the Hemi Shootout at USNATS and I am a member of the Southland Group from La. That's very cool! Ironic that Jerry Ferguson and Lil Joe got me in this gig. Have a good time and be safe in Houston, I am heading East to Saints game.

Oh yeah, congrats to you and Sam at the Big Go. The La. boys "got game".

Does your computer have a place for you to put your card from your camera? It is a lot easier that way than using the cable for the camera!

Ok here are a few more. I went to eat at Jax Bar and Grill with my son. Just being in the A/C was nice. Will be out first thing in the morning. I'll go around and see how many came in over night and try to get pics. Qualifying starts at 9am with stock first out. Later

Sorry been busy with the car. It shut off at 1100ft on my run. Working on it now. Not sure what stock did. Alot more cars so after 2nd rd of qualifying ill get around and try to get pics. Air wasnt that bad this morning. My weather station said I would run a 9.98 that would have been nice Ive never been in the 9's yet. Next round it most likely won't happen. I try to take pics of the qual sheets when I can. This is my first try at this. I don't know how the other guys do it and race at the same time. LOL Later

Bob it's been one frickin thing after another all year. I can't wait for the calender to turn so maybe next year will be better. I can't really complain about the engine. 5 years with no real issues until today. I doomed myself by telling Mike Keown the other day how reliable it was. It got the lifter and the camshaft. I won;t know until I get it apart what else it did. At least it did it when I was driving into the water not on the pass. As soon as it sounding like it was running on 5 cylinders I killed it. I have more pics. later
