Seat belt harness
 

Well it is that time again to throw away my perfectly good belts and get a new set. What's the best deal out there?
Can we still use the V style?
I need a set before this weekend.

No **** Mickey, I was on their site before I posted, just thought I would get some ideas from fellow racers.
It never fails as soon as I buy something I always here of a better deal.

If you lived closer to me,I would loan you mine.

Its really ashame to have to buy a new set at this time of the year.

After this race,you probably won't race until April,right?

The RCI Platinum 2 year belts were on special at Jeg's for $69. Jim

The RCI Platinum belts come with a certificate for a free recert after 2 years so you get 4 years for the cost of shipping. I bought these the last couple times and it looks like they just sent out a new seat of belts?

IMPACT (this year,don't know about next year) is a contingency sponsor.

Real close to the race track at Indy.

You are correct Darrel, I hate buying belts this time of year and then setting for six months. I will check on that 1 free recert tomorrow, that sounds like the best deal going.

Send them back to the manufacturer, I did it with RJS, got them back in a week. I think it was only $45.

Does anyone know what Impact charges to re-web a set of their belts? I have a set from within the SFI issues they had a couple years back and would like to put them back in the car as they are much nicer belts than the RCI set that I replaced them with.
