I did. Qualified #5. Ran the same guy first round as I did on Saturday. Had him .009 on the tree, took .010 stripe, and lost a double breakout by .001.

Re: Piedmont - thanks! Car's running great. I needed to tighten up on the tree this weekend to repeat, but it was a good points weekend, regardless.

Oh, mom said you were not on the sheet Sunday. I guess I should have looked myself. I thought it would have been strange for you to leave after driving all the way down to Douglas. Dad wanted to go, but I had NO luck the last time I went there and it is so far away. I need a little time off anyway..... I had been to races for six weeks straight until last weekend. Gotta have some time for the friends, family, etc.

Y'all *are* my friends and family! :-)

It was worth the trip. Got to hang out with Chip Horton, and the track was really nice. I'd go back next year.

Your car seems alot faster to me this year, you moved up a couple classes, how long before the big mopar's in the nines?

You moved up to F, move up to C. Drag the bumper when ya leave! Cmon wheres your sense of adventure? lol

I already brought up the Hemi crate motor in the AMC Pacer when I talked to her at Piedmont. I think she said, "NOT ME!" ;-)

But look at all the advantages!

* Short wheelbase should hook well.
* Lots of window area, no big blind spots.
* Appears fairly aerodynamic.
* Mopar contingency.
* Dana 60 or 8 3/4 rear is legal.

Seriously for a minute, if I was you Hillarey,I'd do a little research and find out what moparis doing with that challenger they had Pustelny build into a semi race car. I saw it in Hot Rod around the beginning of the year. They were wanting to promote their 390 inch hemi crate engine... If you could get them to give that thing to ya and run it in stock that would be cool.. not sure what it would need to be legal, but you might get them to help you with that too! Your young attractive and female, so it would draw alot of attention for them and you... just a thought... I'll stop ramblin now... http://www.classracer.com/html/happy.gif
