Re: Could GM Be Serious About The COPO?
Cool video, yes they look serious, but I sure hope they "work" on the 60ft.

Re: Could GM Be Serious About The COPO?
Doesn't help their cause to have "Concept Vehicle - Not Available for Sale" across the bottom of the video. They are supposedly trying to get public response to show GM brass that it's worth doing; and that's not going to encourage people to write in.

The chassis is just fine. First passes with a brand new car. The fly-by-wire throttle function was lazy and they'll get it worked out.
Do Challenger Drag Paks work ok? There ya go :-) |

I'm sure they will get it worked out just fine too,but to think that was probably a 1.5 under pass I suppose? Have the HP factors officially been announced yet? |

Re: Could GM Be Serious About The COPO?
Drag Pak cars have manual throttle bodies, all motors including the v10. I always thought NHRA didn't like the dbw, but technical stuff is above my head.

Re: Could GM Be Serious About The COPO?
Drive by wire is just one more thing to cause problems. Can't imagine why they want it. Mechanical throttle limiters are an easy way to slow one down.
