I see Troy Pourciau got banned as well. I assume it's just a temp ban and not a permanent one like clutch boy and Peter North. I wonder what that's all about.

Some troublemaker from Texas who rarely, if ever, had anything positive or constructive to say. All the posts I remember were simply to stir the doo-doo and irritate people. I was getting tired of him too.

Could it be the same person/ IP address? That would explain Clutch's reasoning for going to far. His car got 9 NHRA hp, and I pointed out what went down in IHRA. His car being the one that ran the number that got HP, and then simply claimed another year. Thats when Clutch joined in. hhhhmmmmmm Actions boys. Theys speak alot louder. Maybee Troy and Clutch got into it and I'm way off base.

As far as what he did, I went to PM him after he needlessly insulted me in the "Early Christmas Present" post.. Then he wasn't on the list anymore and his comments were gone. He might have said more that I didn't see, cuz it was later that I came back to PM him. I'm thinking its a collection of problems with him.

Toby,

I will bet it is something to do with the classifieds. Troy posted a couple of ads and they have disappeared. This happened to me over the summer. It was called spamming as explained to me. It actually happened to me twice under different circumstances. Hope to see Troy back and everything well.

I went back to one of my ads and said engine was sold and the ad got deleted.
I figured it was because it moved it back to the top.
I did not do that on purpose ,just letting some of the people that contacted me it was sold.
Learned my lesson (my fault).
It is probably hard being a official on here....MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL....

Next time just edit the post to reflect the sold status. That way it does not move to the top as it would if you added a reply.

Good to know that I am in select company such as yours, when it comes to breaking the rules. Are you selling your 283 stuff?

Yea I got banned when someone asked me a question about a trailer I had for sale, so I answered the question then the admin booted me for a week. I then couldnt communicate with the person and lost the sale. If its the same person who posted keeping his thread at the top I could see it, I had 3 responses and answered a question then I'm gone. Thats why I rarely post on here anymore.

Wouldn't that make it a feed bag??? BTW, Danny please don't put an outrageous scoop (er, feed bag) on that little Nova....a horse manure scoop turned over and facing backwards ala cowl induction would look better! LOL

I got bounced when I posted an ad, and later went back to change something, didnt see the edit button any more, so I posted the changed info in a "reply"... and got a week off.

No malicious intent on my part, and I really didnt try to "move it to the top", but the rules are the rules, and somehow I survived the week off with only minor permanent damage, and a little better knowledge of the rules.

Kinda like I told the bartender at the Hotsy Totsy Lounge in Mandeville, LA about 45 years ago, 'I been thrown out of a lot nicer places than this ----in dump' and left right before the cops got there.

What is wrong with you people, this thread is to say goodbye to someone and you guys are talking about your own posting problems. Get with the program, talk about Clutch Man, who is he, what are his likes and dislikes, does he really own a car, is there dual personalities. Is he really from Texas. Does Kevin Helms feel unwanted since this is not him. Does he have friends in Louisiana. Where did he acquire his typing skills. Is he really a former world champion.
These are what should be discussed, not some nonsense about how you post. Now get over yourselves and get back to the defamation.

Sometimes this site has more gossip and Bull**** than the Red Hat Society. No offense Ron but I dont care if someone is banned, Ive been banned and alot others that what we were discussing. The fact is the site loves post like this and the BS stuff, see it builds page views which is how he charges for his advertising. So when a new challenger or mustang post comes out with 1000's of hits per day it just drives up his hits per month and everyone pays more. The classifieds are something that dont get looked at much look at the views beside the post. Have a nice day.

herbjr, no offense taken as the post was on the sarcastic side. Really don't care who he is, just pointing out that the thread seemed to be deviating. As far as being banned for something I got hit also. So there.
Can we now have a moment of silence in remembrance of Clutch Man.
