Look at the bottom.

AAA is 9.70
AA is 10.00
BB is 10.30
CC is 10.60

That's a whole lot of spread between the indexes, compared to A on down

The spread is cause the old cars always get the good treatment, and the new cars take it in the ear as usual. How about that logic?

AAA/SA sure is a lot of letters. I wonder why they just didn't make the new classes AA thru DD? Maybe it's because when somebody says double D they usually aren't referring to a race car. :)

So the 6 lb/hp stock class has exactly the same index as its super stock counterpart... that makes sense.

Maybe this proves that NHRA knew along time ago that the Mustangs were under rated.

So what class is my Dodge in with a 7.5 factor? It looks like AA/SA is a 10.00 index now and A/SA is still 11.00?
