How about that Gene Bichlmeier running 10.01.... has there been a 9sec GT/I car? thats flying for a 283 anyways!!1

Bich has the record at 9.92 Robin and Tim can run in the 9's as well.

Genes car has never had a 9 second slip but OH so close, I am sure he will get one real soon. Gene works as hard as anybody and has the youth of a teenager in that 60+ body. His is having fun along with Bob and Ron. Tom

I heard that as well! i remember when robin ran the first 9 in Kat MMP. I have video of it..

And, he gets great fuel mileage with his Chevy II (according to Gene) LOL. I've known Gene since the Cornhusker Raceway Park days in the early 70's.....great guy. Former Winternationals SS winner. We've raced 4 or 5 times the past few years and I have to say that he is as "tricky - good" at driving the finish line as anyone I've raced. G L Gene.......Gary Hansen
