Global West, Afco and others. That said, the same can be accomplished by modifying poly graphite bushings by adding a zerk fitting, cutting a grease groove in the bushing and turning down the sleeve which is what I had on my Chevelle.

actually no it can't. The poly bushing will still deflect, albeit less than the stock rubber one. The Del-A-Lum style that global west sells will not and will still move just as free if not more so.

whoopdie f'n doo. I was just pointing out that no, "the same can't be accomplished" by modifying a poly busing. Deflection may not matter to you, but to a lot of class racers it does. Since you aren't one, you don't get it.

oh I forgot, only class racers get it. :p

FYI, one of the best stock/super stock builders in the country disagrees with you.;)

speak for yourself

Ed did u just grind off your serrations from the bushing shells? To the other person responding, class racers still use this method that Ed has mentioned.

C.R. no reason to attack someone trying to help. Plus ask Dan fletcher what bushings he was using as u may be surprised.

mannymen knows.;)

IIRC, there were no serrations on these polygraphite black bushings, Did this back in 2000.

I didn't attack anyone, I pointed out the inaccuracy of his statement, which was "you can accomplish the same thing". It's not the same thing.

From an engineering standpoint it's not the same, period.

and you would know because you're an engineer right cause I am.

Really? You are? Then why am I giving you a lesson on deflection? An engineer should understand that. If you don't, and you are a mechanical engineer, then your employer is getting ripped off.
