Well we got into SGMP today, they let everybody in around 5pm, we have gotten parked i would say around 100 rigs or so in here already. guess the 4.00 plus gas prices isnt going to hurt the event as much as i thought. anyhow I'll try to take pic's tomorrow and do a little posting. testing is on hold right now as we are getting a few drops from the sky, remember you can see all the action on www.1320go.com from this weekend at SGMP.

well good day for the gang, we got to the last 4 cars of the SS side of the shootout and get this, we made some $$$. Richie Rich did good, worse light in 4 rd was a .017, when we lost he took to much stripe and lost to Jeff Taylor and broke out , 9.699 on a 9.70. Taylor went on to beat Dusty Lowell in the overal finals.

Good Morning here at SGMP we are going out with Stock rd 3 at 9am, we are still in SS, we have Mike Stokes with his always tough SS/CM Cavalier in rd 2. Will post later as when we get done will head straight to Gainesville FL for Gator Nationals.
I'm pretty sure www.1320go.com will be showing all the action as long as D2 turns it on. Don the internet reception is real bad here, everybody has been having issues and real slow service

Hey we made it to Gainesville Raceway, we are 118th in line, went out to find a pizza place and have a beer and a hour and 10 minutes later ended up in a mickeyD's with burgers fries and apple pies. Guess someone (Ralph ) should of grabbed the gps. Well got to rd 5 at SGMP if you think people get rich going rounds at a divisional, guess again $150, lol. ok will post tomorrow if i get a chance, stats day i got to work some of this trip.

btw with Patsy posting and i see alot of people watching her thread I'm thinking of retiring from posting and just post here and there on our thread with pictures i take and have everybody watch her thread if you want information going on the next 3 weeks.

Thursday at Gator was a great day for the gang, we won class in the combo deal, what a marathon, #1 qualifier also. Now just need to go some rounds in the big race. I know I have been slacking posting here but been busy and frankly to lazy to take pictures. nobody was invited for teardown i noticed and they did run out of trophies cause i borrowed Allen Wades just so us 3 old farts could pose with one for our personal DVD i will make after this road trip is over, you know the late night $19.95 spl's , lol never seen before "Over the Hill Ohio Gang" "Gone Wild", lol

"Hero to Zero" in less then 10 seconds, we missed on both sides, Rich was tardy and i was in one of those case where we know track is faster then what weather station is saying but what do you dial, so i dialed him in safe so we knew he could get there, but the light killed him. So our Gator nationals is over for 2012, now on to Belle Rose, guess I become a spector rest of the weekend, but I'm not a good one with pro cars. got to see some people about stats stuff so I'll keep busy. Maybe I'll post later before the Crown royal gets open, (yes Rich bought me a bottle of that and its better then JD) ok, thats all for now going to try to enjoy the weekend, but if you know me good enough i have never cared for national events that well to much media bs, only if we are winning i care for them.

We be out of here, we left Gainesville and headed for Belle Rose, it was cold, windy and boring today at the Gators, plus i couldnt farm darn it!, so we made a team decission and left for hopefully better weather and thong weather. lol

Chapter 3 will be the next installment and man i will miss Joe & Alice not being at Belle Rose, but I have NHRA's answer to Emmit Smith and Dancing with the Stars next contestant there at Belle rose with us. STAY TUNED, same bat channel, same bat station

Joe,
I don't want to put your brain on overload, but are you hearing any chatter about the "window net" rule this year? Like if you use mesh they have to be 27.1 and updated every two years but if you use the ribbon type they don't? Unless you run faster than 7.50 in the 1/4.
