Drag Race Central / NHRA
 

I'm not really sure what the problem is but have been told that NHRA wants DRC to pay them for access to the real time qualifying at the Cajun SportsNationals. If this is true I say pound sand NHRA! They must need more money for their year end bonuses. Whatever the problem is it should have been worked out a month ago not sprung on DRC at the race. When will NHRA figure out DRC is doing them a favor? When will NHRA figure out the Sportsman racers are the ones paying the bills in Glendora? Is this just another money grab? How about for once think of the racers sitting back at home because they can't make the race for whatever reason instead of fattening NHRA's slush fund? Jim

The reason the sheets aren't being posted is because the track doesn't have internet access other than an air card. And just like most other tracks, everyone uses their cell phones which uses up all the bandwidth which makes getting on the internet almost impossible sometimes.

OK, I just got an email from the horses mouth. DRC is not even at the race. Kinda hard to report if you aren't there right? I got some bad info apparently. Sorry for the rant. Bret, the facts are what ruined my conspiracy theory I really don't think NHRA pays DRC, now calm down and go pet your furry bunny! :eek: Jim

here is the deal, i have heard DRC has done some cut backs (trust me the cost of traveling is unreal) and i heard all 3 JEGS races where 3 of them cut plus a Div race in each division, this is what i heard, i might be wrong. Anyhow saying that, I'm still glad if even 2 days late DRC covers it better then "back in the day" of waiting for ND. Our internet isnt the best here and I know Kay & Olan has been fighting the www.1320go.com stuff since yesterday morning.
Posting the Q sheets, I hope Larry & Rick didnt get to mad at me just thought that would help people out chopping at the bit for any news from down here.

BTW I see everything is now posted on DRC, hit the link on the class racer tool bar
