Congratulations Dan Jacobs

Congratulations on setting the SS/F national record @ 9.23 and qualifying No. 1@ Belle Rose. That's one bad shoebox! All that work over the winter really paid off. Really happy for you. Danny

I watched that chevy II make some very impressive runs Friday and Saturday. Beautiful car you have there Dan, and plenty fast. Congrats on the new record. I'm not sure what the actual air readings were like, but I can tell you the air gets a whole lot better at no problem than it was this weekend. I can imagine how fast that car would have been if he would have had some of that negative altitude stuff we get down here this time of year.

Thanks everybody. Yeah we worked hard over the winter on everything we needed to correct. We thought all the changes would be good, but not that good. Hey Jeff, I thought it was cool that you were in the other lane when I set the record......and by the way it's been on since Indy. Still working on some new things, don't think we've hit the potential yet. Won't be satisfied until they make me put a parachute on it. Glad we came to the race had a great time, good people. I want to thank Stephen & Chuck Belanger and Ricky Thomas for all your help.

Yeah Dan, I know I'm eating some Crow right now, Humm, kinda taste like Chicken-- S$$T. Guess I shouldn't have been in HP safe mode and took that .19 @ 144 at Houston.Live and learn.Still have some tricks up my sleeve so enjoy. Hey I always enjoy racing you win or loose, the sprit of competition is what it's all about, if it wasn't for that I would race at the track 28 miles from home. Had oats and dry toast for breakfast, you know what I mean.(: The next time we meet I wont be in GT/B See Ya there.

You are absolutely right Mr.Colvert, its all about the "spirit of competition" and once again this is exactly why we are doing this venture, to have fun, compete and the odd call out to our favorite competitors that can dish it as much as they can take it, true sportmen.
