Diane Scheitlin RIP
 

My wife of 35 years passed away on 7/23/12. She battled a long illness of celiac diease which led to neuromuscular complications that caused the muscles in her lungs to no longer function.

When I met diane she had great legs and a Plymouth Barracuda, what more could a mopar loving drag racer ask for.

The last few years of her life she was no longer able to attend the races. She allways told me to say hi to her friends. When I got home it was allways 20 questions until I sat down to tell her who I saw and what was going on in your lives.

For everyone who knew Diane, thank you for making a difference in her life.

Dwayne, my sincerest condolences. I always enjoyed my conversations with Diane. I remember her giving me a bunch of peaches one year at Sears Point and I made peach crisp with them to share with everyone! She was a special lady. May the wonderful memories you have of her bring you comfort and smiles in the days to come.

My sincerest condolences. I only met Diane a couple of times, but I know that if you chose her to be your wife AND she had a Cuda, she was an extremely special lady. She will be very missed.

Dwayne,
Those of us who knew Diane are the ones who are so fortunate to have known her. Her good spirits and quiet determination to make the best of everything regardless of her health challenges was inspirational to me. I would complain about something I was dealing with and you were always quick to remind me of how Diane handled all of her challenges and that would always help me put things in the proper perspective. I will always be grateful for the friendship and time spent with both you and her. She is at peace now.
