Theblock.com has pictures of COPO # 3 which is my baby.Would love to get it soon so we can test and tune and do whatever to make it competitive to the blazing CJ'S and get it to INDY.Hope to get the call soon! The car looks awsome can't wait to take it down the track.

I'm a little surprised the wiring harness is so big. Are using the full harness out of a street car?

Is #3 a superstock version, the blower looks huge. I would love to have it. I hope you get the car for Indy. Dyno

Congrats. Hopefully you can get it ASAP. The suspense is brutal for owners I'm sure. Keep her shiny side up and once again congrats.

I've got to see what the enemy oops I mean fellow competitor can do lol. ;)

What else would the use? No one had the fore thought to design and build race only harness like Ford did and to boot you can get the PDF files off the FRP website. Just plain lack of planing!

It appears Ford has made the rest look like beginners. If I were going to get a new one, it would be a blown CJ.

I saw that too. Looks a little busy in the engine compartment. Maybe they will clean it up before it's done. The intake into the blower is round so it looks like a small blower for stock class.

Just like some of my brothers who have CJ'S I will have to make my own modifications we already have several planned . The car is beautiful I love it and will do whatever it takes to make it run. In fact I am looking for motor builders et al right now who would like to be a part of history

Yes contrary to popular belief you can't just write a check to the manufacture and turn the key and go straight to the top of the sheets. They still require work. I'll be having BES build my engine and a spare this winter.

Those LS engines are pretty mean when done right.

Might talk to Alan Patterson. He has one of those engines in the works now.

Cambria, I assume you will have to come to the dark side for Indy if you get that ugly thing done. I'm sure some dedicated Bow Tie guy with a grade point will help you, and drive for you cause you ain't so good anyway. I will have a Mopar waiting for you in the other lane, somehow things never change. If you come, I might like one of the cigars you usually have, I will provide beer and cajun food. Col. Re: Copo # 3

No one know what these cars will actually do and the CJ'S are not running stock off the showroom floor. They have 3 years of r and D and guys like Bo laying the green to them to make them fast need to pick a motor builder other than Patterson who is working the CJ'S need a Chevy big blower guy and am open for suggestions. My goal is to make this the fastest COPO 4.0 If all the CJ'S were running as delivered it would be a different story

Re: Copo # 3

Paul, I would contact BES racing engines in Indiana.
They have made some fast guys even faster.
Parsons and Myers would also be a good pick.
I would also look into some of the premier comp eliminator engine builders.

BES will be building my CJ engine. Like stated he's made fast guys faster. In the NMRA he was able to make more power with less failures to boot. The last part is the most important! Unless you've got an endless money supply(which I don't).

Paul wha wha wha , already about the Cj's. As I have told you many times , in my opinion it would be hard to find better then Patterson Racing to do any GM or 5.4 mod motor , Carbureted, Fuel Injected or Supercharged . I dont know what you're waiting for Call Allen or Todd .

"Laying the green to it " how much did you just pay ? what you going to spend ? LMAO

Jeff when can we start busting his ball's or should I say Col !!

He is building fast fords for you I want my own who wants to build fast Chevys for me if he builds mine faster than yours we would see who the whiner was I find my own who wants to be part of the big COPO tanning your *** and Foghorn leghorns too. Remember we both used to have the same engine builder same car and for some reason your car was always faster than Mine not this time Ha ha black before blue before I am through

Re: Copo # 3

The reason I shalacked your ***** in top stock the last year was Patterson built me some fast stuff and I had a good tuner . The year before I had Monty who was always worth at least a 10th and we tested.

The reason the 4L supercharged copo wont out run a 4L Supercharged CJ heads up same weight is a different , something about 4valves are better then 2

Your wallet is going to be black and blue before your thru if you go with the wrong engine builder . You name the date and place grudge race ! try and do it before
I get 2 old . I will be their and can take if you win, can you take it if you lose ?

LOL , come on Jeff get in here !! Ford vs Mopar vs Chevy
