A little help

I'm thinking about bringing the Turbo Bird to Cecil County next weekend but it's only happy running on blue Sunoco. Any ideas where I could get some that will check?

Billy, have you ever tried C16? I replaced C12 in the Turbo Spirit with C16 and it picked up and always checked. Jim

Yes, as a matter of fact I have! It slowed down half a second and I couldn't tune it back.
This is a real, honest to gosh, buy it from a dealer and drive it 100k miles car. Not one of those bogus Chrysler ringer cars!

Thats true Billy it takes at least 150,000 to break in the Chrysler cars. Maybe try the better gas in about 4 years or so (figuring 12,000 miles per year).
LOL

Billy, Isn't that what your neighbor Beaver Bob sells?! Seems to me, last time I went there, that's all they had.

Well, the Cecil County/Palmer Sunoco is what pushed alot of us into using the VP. I think you were there at Cecil points race several years ago when everyone, including a very upset Mr. Golonka whose just set record was being bounced, was failing fuel check. It was so bad that finally fuel check was eliminated for the rest of the event, if I remember right. Don't know if Palmer's stuff is any better now, never tried it again!

Sunoco is good gas and if handled and stored properly lasts a long time and will check.

Handling has and is is the problem.

That's what I was told was the problem with Cecil. The new gas was put in the old barrels that weren't properly cleaned and prepared for new gas.I got zinged there twice when I used purple.
