Chevy Museum, Is that like a salvage yard? lol. Just kidding. I can understand 1 and 69. Then again, why not 2,3,4,and 5? Why are they skipping around in the sequence?

In my forty years of General Motors work experience and being involved with a lot of "prototype" builds, the reason "could be" availability of certain parts. A lot of times the parts are just not available to do the vehicles in the original numerical sequence, so they build the vehicles that the parts are available. This is just a guess based on the previous builds that I have been involved.

I think Jim Boburka looks like a "kid with a new toy". Good Luck to all the COPO owners.

I absolutely love these cars! I own a 2011 2SS convertible, 6 spd car if anyone wants to trade. Only 3k on the odometer......LOL.

I was told 1 was prototype 2 to museum 3 went to me and it was the first one out the door. They are beautiful the Gm team was great they gave us each COPO racing jackets went through each car with the build team a real class operation
