Once again local racers DesJardins, Périgny Lafontaine, Magnum Coté, have contibuted to a not too shaby purse of 4K.
Purse details and race program can be found on the Napierville site.

It was again super hot today 80/90F and no wind/breeze to speak of.

Its closer to Indy for many, less travel, less expense, less time away and a great program....you can"t go wrong.

Looking forward to see many of you there.

This is not an ASRA race, it is endorsed and supported by the ASRA, but it is NOT one of the 6 ASRA races. ASRA members who have missed one of the first 5 races can earn ASRA points at this event. The payout from this race is from the track and several local racers and businesses, the ASRA has nothing to do with it.

This is a GREAT race put on by a very dedicated group of people. Payout is great, you get treated really well and this place is fast. Definately the next best thing to Indy on Labour Day weekend.

Make the trip, it's worth it!

Awsome race , Ronald and his family work really hard to make it a 1st class deal ! Wish I could be there other commitments got in the way this year .

What is Saturdays race setup ? Is it a gamblers race type deal ?

we will have a warm up race on saturday
20$ entry fee the track will match the number of cars

so 20 car at 20$=400$ and the winner of this race has a free pass for the gambler race for 5000$

plus a shootout at night
20$ win light plus best reaction time give you the money
one round

for sunday

100$ entry fee
4000$ winner
1000$ runner up

You can find all the info at napiervilledragway.com , but it takes awhile to find it. The schedule is also there, you just need to poke around the site.

I won't be able to attend unfortunately, car apart etc

Just talk to the track owner have more precision on the 5000$ gambler race

its 500$ to enter they only take 16 cars, but the winner of our warm up race will enter free for a chance of 5000$

Thanks for the help Mat, It is an unbelievable gesture on their part to give a free 500 dollar entry to a stock/superstock racer into their special saturday race. Thanks to the sponsors and track for their support of stock/superstock racing.

Matt,

What time is the warm up race? I can't seem to find that in the 40 pages of printouts! I see that time trials are from 3-7 for Stock/SS. Shootout @ 7:30. Should be fun. Daughter will be in the Gremlin, I in the Drag Pak.

A great weekend with perfect weather. 21 cars for the main race of the weekend.

Cantusi won the warm up race.

Mccollum won the shootout at night.

Blais was on a roll and won over Brown in the final for the 4K. Tim Stickle was the lone quarter finalist.
