The nice thing about the .400 Pro Tree is that somebody can win with a slower car.The fastest car may not necessarily win.

I must admitt I have seen some REALLY fast times from quite a few cars that will be running in it. I can tell you who WON'T win........ Lmao! Well NHRA got what they wanted, a FORD CJ shoot out. I really don't think the COPO's can mess with them guys! Good luck to all!

Can a S/G or S/C hired gun get a heavy footbrake car off the starting line any better than a Stock Eliminator driver, hired or not? My Magic Eight Ball sez not likely.

I know it is possible to win with a slower car but not against some of the CJs - when they will have a 2 tenths or more advantage

Like I said before on here and was pooh poohed - there is no substitute for bad air like a BLOWER

I think they will turn down the "wick" a little on the CJs for the sake of competition - avoid rule changes which will not favor the CJs and keep the class going - watch the MPHs

Whatever you do - do it with style as you and your pop always do

After all of this rant - I still wish we were there and yes we would run the FSS (?)

Work duties at the bank and college for Andy take priority this year

I think 9.0's will win . Butner car with race oil can run that and so can Holbrook and Skillman . Im going with Butner car for the win he has the most experince and is the best driver

Billy, I would give you the chance but these CJ's, Drag Paks and COPO's are a little rich for my blood (slang for suffering bank account). Considering you have a little experience, you might be considered the ringer of the bunch. Still two days until they go down track, you might find a taker.

Man looks like there is some great drag racing going on. Wish isaac wouldnt have brought his a double s down this way! But i must admitt the drivers of my cars are representing well. Great job guy!

Looks like some fast cars for us fans in FS/S. Any thoughts on why no COPO's? Assume they could not run with the top Mustangs.

Congrats to Bo Butner! He has been the class of the fast cars in stock all year and a well deserved win in the FS/S. Really no clue why we spun so hard!? Oh well! I was really close with my 9.11 prediction. Fun and exciting.

Congrats to all that raced in the FS/S. I hope NHRA continues the class and the racers stay envolved with it. Everyone was Posting some impressive times. The cars were spectacular from everyone. Candies put up a monster number too. Congrats to Butner as winning it all and the first one. Unfortunately people only remember who came in first but everyone deserves to be noted for being in the first ever even and hopefully not the last!

In the end I thought it was very fitting to see the FS/S cars in the lanes during Pro with the Hemi cars!!

Congrats to Bo Butner and Brett Candies for making to the Inaugural Factory Stock Showdown finals. Kudos to the NHRA for running the Factory Stock and Hemi-Challenge finals right after the Nitro Funny Car qualifying session. The stands were packed and the folks got to see two close final rounds ran by real race cars.
