we are taking the new mustang to panama city next week to the old drag racers reunion.this is one of one that ford built on the assembly line.it is number 22,302,naturally aspirated.we are going to run this car in c/sa early testing is very promising. come on down and have some fun. mr.biggg stuff you can't put a price on a good time [2013 is the going thing]

I see the "RYR" decal on the fender. Is that Yates or Roush/Yates horsepower?

So the 2013 Cobra Jet N/A is a natural C/SA class car? Also are most of the Cobra Jet racers using Big Stuf 3 plug and play PCM etc. Not trying to steal any secrets,just going in that direction with a home built car and looking for advice/information......Thanks

Most racers that are building their own Cobra Jet from a Body-in-White are using a Big-Stuff or other aftermarket system.

Looks like a natural B/SA to me, and min weights would be:

A/SA 2970
B/SA 3145
C/SA 3320

Looks like A would be tough to make. B I'm not sure, I know from the build pics that they cut a lot of metal out of the 2013 and used things like tubular bumper supports to keep the weight down.

On the EFI thing, it looks like Proefi will run the VCT maybe, but it isn't "NHRA accepted". I guess Motec will too, but bend over. May not even matter in a race application.

it is 50 pounds heavy with the driver for c.
all we have done is wash this.car ford has done a beautiful build on this little car .it will be on display friday at bay ford in panama city. see you there randy payne

Seen this one at Watson Engineering a couple weeks ago. It is a NA 5.0. Not sure the story on it.

What tranny do the stick cars use?
I'm also curious how the Cobra Jet compares to a normal Mustang GT if that was in the guide and setup to run Stock. I would guess the power rating and minimum weights are vastly different.

The 2010 SCJs manual transmission was the Liberty LSC5100. The 08s used the Tremec 6060. Most of the manual transmission supercharged guys in stock run the G-Force G5R 4 speed. The NA cars seem to be running the Jericos. You can run the CJs with a 4 or 5 speed. The Super Stockers tend to run the Liberty Equalizer. I'm still deciding on which manual transmission I'm going to run in my Supercharged 5.0 combo.

we made the final 3 at reynolds. could not beat jeff . maybe after some work it will be more competitive.60 ft. is bad and they said to run it with 13 qts. you know i wanted to drain it for the heads up. it ran 127 on the top. nothing has been done to it yet. biggg
