What Happened To Mickey's "Fun" Post?

Were we having too much fun talking about nothing?

Re: What Happened To Mickey's "Fun" Post?

Adger put up a thread about the thread (to which I joined in on) and it got axed as well....guess Ken doesn't want bloated hit statistics for the sake of fun but think the line is pretty blurry since there isn't much point to a ton of threads on the forum, particularly in the lounge. Given what's going on in the Northeast I suspect there's not much latitude for nonsense.

Time for a thread about Real interesting topics, like who has the best shot at the Super Stock championship! If it's not locked up this weekend (hoping for an Etter comeback personally given what happened to him 2 years ago) then it all rests with Jackie to go for two in a row next weekend.

Sad day when a humorous thread like that hits the cutting room floor. Guess to many people were having too much fun...............

To all off you who think I was taking away your fun. I have more things to worry about than the few members who are unhappy with the thread being removed. The state I live in was hammerd by the storm, so forgive me for not having the patience for members that can't control themselves.

So before you guess why it was taken down, and Larry you are wrong. A post that was not seen by many members if any, caused the thread to be removed. This is a racing site, if you wish to go off topic in this section go to the lounge. If you wish to use vulgarity, this is not the place for it and it will be removed along with the member.

Ken

I like Jimmy DeFrank 's chances.

Understand he can improve on a first round loss this weekend, but so can Etter. Rampy still has a shot, apparently Worner didn't make the trip west so it's probably going to be settled this weekend and it will be fun to watch. While Jackie has to win several rounds next weekend I think she proved last year she is certainly capable under pressure.

Mickey who?

My calculations show Etter,Rampy, and Jackie as mathematically ineligible to win the World Championship in Super Stock.

I see Etter and Jimmy D still in contention...

What would be really dramatic would be for Jody Lang to do real well this weekend and then at Pomona and steal the Super Stock World Championship in the same way that it was taken from him last year in Stock.

Article here confirms Etter is out:

That appears to be correct then .
He has 6 Nat's with last week's event.
It depends on where you look I guess.

Anybody else notice NHRA's website has two different links for points and of course they aren't identical? In any case you're right about Jimmy D and Jody being the only ones that can pull it off. Nice article about Etter; Bob Frey is leaving some huge shoes to fill.
