LVMS - SportsNational round money payments

Anybody else having issues - I know of at least two others

This is not a lot of money it is the principal of it - they do not let us delay paying our entry fee

I have exchanged emails multiple times (5)
I have made multiple phone calls (4)
I have been told the checks in the mail twice

Was told by NHRA in the tower at the National event - it is not an NHRA race so not there problem - now that is unreal .....

Samantha Rudder - operations and Kari Neely accounting - have both given various different excuses

Today I sent an email to Samantha and Kari for the fourth time - I also sent it to Graham Light, Mike Rice and Shirley Carter at JEGS - I did not hear a word from any of them

This is not a contingency payment issue

They have my correct address - They told me the amount is $250 - They have multiple copies of my W9

I am at a loss as to what to do next

You can bet they paid the bracket racers this last weekend at the end of the race in the tower

I just got my check from Pomona so I bet the LVMS national event has been paid

Any suggestions - other than saying it is my fault and I am doing something wrong

Ron we got paid 2 weeks ago but I had to contact the track, yes it really pisses me off when you are Lied to and they tell me that the check was mailed 3 days ago and when you get it a week later it is post marked just 2 days before, you should contact dstetzer@lvms

It takes a while. From LV II, I got 3 letters or emails saying they can't pay me cause I got no decal. As it grows, I sent them a nasty return, and cross that product off my list. And you know, I got a pretty long and deep list. I guess I should not get mad, as I knew it going in. From Indy last year, I was surprised by the people who paid me. It was really great. They are in Big Letters on the Top of My List. And from LV, some of it is 75 bucks, lets see, that is a glass or fair wine, a mid line steak, a side, maybe a french onion soup, no desert and certainly no martini. And I'm supposed to worry about 75 bucks. Let's see travel 1800 miles @ less than 5 mpg going (head wind) and 5.68 returning, 300 to get in, and you know the rest of the drill, and I ain't gonna get that $75. But there is hope, Obama is gonna make it up cause no one should be deprived. He is gonna make anyone who pays Bo Butner pay me too. After all, everyone is equal, win or lose. I have had too much coffee. I'm gonna quit. Typing, not racing. Yall ain't gettin out that easy.

Same deal here except I can't even get a call back from NHRA or Samantha at LVMS. Funny thing is that I got had a check from the divisional race in my mail box from LVMS by the time I got home.

Jeff this is not about contingency money - I know how long that can take (forever) -- This is about round money due from the track - aka PRIZE money....

It is fereaking ridiculous and I can not seem to embarass them into paying - nothing has worked so far not even contacting the other Big Dog (not you) Graham Light or JEGs directly about their race (LVMS) not paying

Just curious if you left the track thinking the check would be sent in the mail.At NHRA National events, they send the check in the mail.

At the Sportsnationals in Columbus, they paid right on the spot.I almost left thinking it would be mailed.Things can always get lost in the mail.

Heard yesterday the USPS posted a staggering $15.9 billion loss in 2012

LVMS has sent for a FID # so I can get my money. I told Helms I had to collect at the track, but Noooooo, they gonna mail it. I know my FID, and my SS, and other than that I have no memory. Anyway, Good Luck. One nice note; beer in LV is 19.99 for a 36 pack, and in LA it is 18.99 for a 24 pak. Shoulda bought more.

Jeff I was three jumps ahead of that BS about tax crap - they told me multiple times "the check is in the mail already"

Today - I was once again told "the person who runs the check batch will do it later today"

This is prize money not contingency money - NHRA told me it is not an NHRA race ...... so not their problem

I contacted JEGS (Shirley Carter) no result ... wish I had a Coughlin email - I know that would get some action

emailing Graham sure did nothing

At the Street car supernationals this past weekend at LVMS you could pick up your check as soon as you lost on Sunday. It was run by the PCSA. gsa612

Ron. Add my name to your list. I sure hope they don't plan on filing a 1099 on money they haven't paid us....

Re: LVMS - SportsNational round money payments

Does not have to do with round money but I know a Comp racer that had to badger a company for months (more than 6) for a contingency check and when it finally arrived it was NSF. I have a hard time comprehending that. You purchase their product, display their sticker, win the race and you get an NSF company check for your efforts. Starts to take the fun out of it.

Got my 3rd round loser money from LV today. $50 bucks; that will buy 2 1/2 cases of hot beer ot the supermarket. That is 24 can cases, not like the 36 can cases in LV. I wish the woulda sent beer. I would be better off. But it could have been worse, so no complaints here.

$50 is all the 3rd Round loser gets at Division 7 race?

Re: LVMS - SportsNational round money payments

That is what they sent. Maybe they deducted taxes? I thought it was worth $100 for 3rd. Maybe it's that new math. Maybe Rayburn and Durham got an extra 25 each. Redistribute the wealth. Now where have I heard that.
