Anybody seen any good Optima Battery ads lately??
 

Tell me I've done something stupid on my computer, because all I get while viewing is the Optima Battery pop up ad!!

I realize that the site needs to make a buck, but I can't view a thread for 30 seconds with the pop up taking over.

Tell me I did something and then tell me how to correct it.

Me too RJ, not sure what the deal is-I would be hap[py topay a yearly fee to the site to avoid pop ups. Thats how they do it on v8buick.com

Better check your spam settings guys. I don't get ANY pop up adds from here. Do you have Norton or McAfee ? Jim

I just had to edit my post. As I was explaining that I would not use pop up ads on Class Racer the Optima Battery ad pop up. I have contacted the advertising agency and instructed them to remove the pop up advertisers.

There is nothing wrong with you computer. Please bear with me and I will get this worked out. I don't want pop up ads on Class Racer, I know how annoying they can be.

You may want to try going into your settings to make it harder for pop up ads. If your using the IE browser go to tools then pop up blocker and then pop up blocker setting and chose the highest level.

I use Aurora, a version of FireFox, and get no pop up ads.

I'm sure Ken will get the pop up ads removed ASAP, he's a stand up guy, and not the type to let that crap on his site.

hmmmmm easy, eh? well, YOU make it look easy...even if I did have a dedicated race car, where would I race? 1/8 irwindale? nah Bakersfield/famoso...nice place,even more wildly popular and crowded since fontana closed and 2.5 hours from me-nah I will just enjoy it on the street until someone buys it. Part of the deal for me is the journey-building, changing, improving. I am finally using the heck out of it though been to 3 shows and 3 cruise nights in a month!

Nice car and a very smart move. Id bet your "Entries" are by far less expensive and they havent thrown you out of a show for having the wrong color muffler bearings either......LOL

Thanks Kenny, thought I had really screwed something up, when something does not go right I have a tendency to just start pushing buttons......and then yell for my wife.

The combo we are running in Anthony Bongiovanni's Cobra Jet is the 281 three valve n/a, its rated at 266. I was not planning on qualifying number one, I don't want to hurt a combo when you don't need to, especially when I'm not the owner of the car. Anthony is the best owner you could drive for, he was fine with it.

Ken, the problem is in Texas for sure. R J is a pop up himself. Sorta like me, anything new is not in the agenda.
