I am pretty sure it is a D/SA,E/SA,or F/SA combo.

I am real surprised that there are not more of these cars out there,as they are rated at 325 horsepower, which is 35 horsepower lower than the factory rating.

Seems like a good combo to easily run the index.

The guy you want to talk to is Greg Hill.

How long has it been de-factored that much?

It's really easy, it costs almost no money and takes very little work to get it to run fast.

That's amazing Greg, My car also costs very little money and almost no work at all to get to run. And just think, we are rated at more than one HP per cubic inch to boot.

Joe

All kidding aside, it would make a great Combo in any of the Classes mention previously. To run the way the Hill's cars run it takes alot of time, money, testing and did I mention money??

Talk to Greg about his combo and I am sure he would tell you what parts are hard to come by and which ones aren't. Any Combo can be made to work, some are just easier/less expensive to work with.

Good Luck and don't be shy about asking somebody about their Combo.

RJ

Guys, I may be wrong, but I'm looking in the 1970 Camaro NHRA classification guide online and seeing the 350hp 402 cu in factored to 340 horsepower, rather than the 325 hp mentioned above. This would be in line with the earlier 350/360hp 396 engines in the earlier cars, can someone point me to the 325hp factored rating?

Grant, you're looking at B.B.'s. Look at S.B.'s and think Z-28. J.R.

Oops! Thanks J.R.! Too many years of big blocks on the brain, never thought of the small block combo....

Thanks everyone for the replys. Is there any other intake that you can
use other than the ones listed in the blueprint guide? The ones ive found
are pricey because of resto. value.

thanks Joe.

Re: 70 Camaro 350/360hp

Must be listed in the guide. Pricey is what happens when you choose a sought after muscle car to compete in Stock. Hemi's, Thunderbolts, Z-28's, 6-Paks, Max-Wedge, etc., those are pricy parts.
If you want the cheaper parts, you need the low HP V-8 offerings. But then you give up that Z-28 intake, compression, cam and a Holley carb.
Pick your poison!
