$10,000 Div.1 Open in Napierville, QC Canada July 13/14
 

The 4th annual $10,000 Stock/Super Stock combo race will be coming up in two weeks! All details for purses, entry fees and accomodations can be found on the web: napiervilledragway.com. Below is a quick detail of the events and payouts. The dragstrip is located right off the Interstate about 30 minutes North of the border. Hope to see everyone there, Happy 4th of July!

Friday: Test & Tune

Saturday: $1500 warm up Stk/SS race, $80 entry fee (48 car field)

Saturday Night: Best RT with a win light gets all tha money, random pairing, $20 entry fee with a starting guaranteed purse of $200 + all money collected

Sunday: $10,000 Stk/SS Combo Race, $275 entry fee (48 car field)

All funds, entry fee and payouts in USD

Great track and event to test and work on your car, you can get as many TT's as needed.

The hounds, I and Rayna will be there. If I get the ok from Bob and Dave, I will try the compete with two cars one in stock and the other in SS trick. Just have to get up to the front with one, and one at the back for round 1. This is a really great event, and you and all the other sponsors should be thanked profusely for your efforts. Kevin going to shoe the camaro this year, while the Nova makes a comeback?

Disclaimer: If my wife desires, I will bring the Gremlin for her to shoe and I will leave something else home! Daughter is at camp, or she would be playing too.

I may want to come up Thursday night and if I do can you park overnight in the dinner parking lot next door. It would be late so I figure the track would be closed....just wondering

Mr. Fardie, your truck and trailer will be more than safe and welcome to park over night in the adjacent hotel/restaurant parking lot. Great to hear that you are coming up to play, always great to see that Deuce! Try to talk some of your other stick shift racers to make the trek, love hearing the rowing of gears in those high winding SBC's. Safe drive.

looking froward to the race and yes I wish I could get more racers to come. Trust me it is not from lack of effort in promoting this event and the great time we always have racing in Canada. Bob and Steve Broadbent will be coming and I believe Tom Boucher is coming as well.It looks like I be up on Friday so see you in a few days

They now require US residents to have a passport but you can get a limited passport which is much easier and faster to get. These express passports are only good for Canada and Bermuda. Get the passport because you will not regret the great time you'll have across the border racing and the great friends you'll make there.

Looks like Sunny Skies and 80+ degrees F all weekend! If you have a larger size rig/tow vehicle, please post that you are coming and I will be at the track today putting aside spots to accomodate those showing up a little later this week. Hope to see you all there.

There were over 20 S & SS at the track by early afternoon.
More racers on their way today and again on Saturday should make it a great field.....
Posted some pictures on my FB page (too large for posting here and do not know how to shrink them).
Great weather and likely to heat up Sat & Sun.

attended saterday and it was great. 2 fletchers, 2 worners, 2 brodbents, 2 cantusci's, 2 Gaffney cars. Canada very well represented with Armstrong & gang from out east, loads from que. and the wiley veteran bob park (w/pete fedun as crew chief) over bryan clayton for the 15 hundred warm up race money.....nice to see oley stevens & the B automatic corvette. (oley and guy desjardines having to do trans swaps in the late afternoon) usa troops of m.labreque, j.santangelo,t boucher were fast. lots of 75+ under runs with truly a tough field of cars.... thankyou to ronauld brunet and family and everyone who made the trip......the party was just starting...

This one is in the books and Joe Santangelo and father are the 2013 edition champs.
Dan Fletcher's was his oponent in the final.
Thanks to all racers, spectators and sponsors who support this race every year and nice to see many new comers.

Great time and great people, Thanks to the Gaffney family and all others for supporting this event. 48 - 50 cars, it was hot sunday mid 90's, -001 red for me 3rd round, congrats to Joey and Dan, and to Bob Park who won the Saturday race. John Armstrong and Eric Merryfield split the reaction time deal on sunday 2nd time trial, both had .000 lights

I know this is coming a little late; however we went straight to Epping from the Napierville race and I just got back to the office today. I would like to congradulate both Mr. Parks and Joe Santangelo on their victories over the weekend! The weather was hot yet great for drag racing. I want to thank all of those who made the trip up, this year we got our biggest turn out yet :) 54 cars. Lots of new faces, Fletcher's/Worner's to name a few as well as lots of fan favorites who have been regular supporters of this race, AllStars, East Coast and CanAm guys. I am very happy that the weather cooperated for us, special thanks to NHRA and The Brunet Family for allowing and organizing this event. Hope to see everyone back next year!
