More Tulsa LODRS

I added a few more to the first Tulsa post. Sorry no names as I am learning to do this as I go. I hope to do better by the Noble race with a different format with captions. Someday I would like to be able to submit the same quality as Patsy and Larry.
Big Ed W did you forget to do something here? haha

Ed didn't forget anything. That is a special feature that he added when he had the car back halved.

It is an automated fart release mechanism that Eastex perfected for the older racers. Years in development and works best with 4th generation F bodies.

Dang! Does it always do that? Hope I just forgot to latch it. I have seen others do that. If it always does, anybody know how to fix it?

Fart release? Wonder if Vic forgot to charge me for that one. Don't remember seeing it on the invoice. Older racers, huh? I'm telling your Mom.

She already saw it and pointed out in the pic that you were leaning to the right trying to slip it out. I told her that the pic told the whole story.

You could feel it coming on in the burnout box. By the time you staged you were cramping pretty bad, wondering "Can I trust this one...hope so. Thank goodness this is a single layer suit because those A5's are like a sleeping bag at band camp after the chili supper. Oh the pressure...this is too much...something gotta give....Dang! Went red....hope Vic got the A/F ratio right (Air/Fart) otherwise my eyes start to water at half track."

You could also use it to your advantage. Tighten the pressure gauge down a turn or two during eliminations. You could take out one of those Mustangs with the fog of war. They won't be able to find the stripe.

You just ain't wired right.
But I think I've already mentioned that.

Glad my California Car Duster didn't fall out. Can't have a black car without one.
Friggin dust magnets.

Look at Gary Moore's wife, Ann, in the third pic. She lost all strength in her legs. Good thing the barrier caught her.

And everyone knows that Jeff Colvert's car is a true killer and nothing could slow it down, but his light is dark green and looks like Ed has done the impossible. Stopped Colvert dead in his tracks.

Thanks Keith, I'll have to figure which way to go with the adjustment. I see cars that always do it, and others that don't. My wife says I just forgot to latch it, that it doesn't do that. But, I have had others tell me they have seen it pop up a time or two. I'll try to figure out how to stop it.

Btw, I love Jeff but don't want to run behind him in the same lane. His CJ is one of the biggest bald-spot-makers.
Wonder why the Pro Stock cars don't do that? Just stick S & SS cars.

A lot of cars were spinning the tires there. I was still in the high 1.20s where I normally am. Thanks Eastexas Race Cars!

Just to clear the air (so to speak). I have nothing, but respect for Jeff and his accomplishments. The post was meant to point out the only thing capable of crippling Jeff's motor was the emanations coming from Ed's car in the prior photo.

It was just a not so fortunate moment that he spun that made the car look dead in the photo. Mea Culpa!
