About 6" in front of Jimmys front end at the first stripe.
Not many S/SS players can drive that well.

Fletch must have been powering to the line. Notice how close his wheelie bar wheels are to the track surface & distance the fender is over the front tire. Seems logical he would do that when a faster car is running him down at the line @ 150+ MPH. That is just good racing!

The results MAY have been different if he hadn't replaced a fuel system component before first round that resulted in a .060 ET pick up.

Good racers and a good race. When these 2 collide, could go either way. Hard to ever bet against Dan, especially as he approaches the 100 National Event win mark. Bernie 'may' and 'if' are small words with very large meaning. These 2 racers will do their talking on the track it seems

I probably made a bad decision, but I had a regulator acting suspect and changed it out prior to 1st round. Yes, the car picked up substantially. Its hard to race a 150mph car when you're going a solid 8 under.

Bottom line, if you get beat in the tree, last time I checked, getting there first in a double break out doesn't work out too well, lol. Congrats to Jimmy. Staci would have just whipped my *** anyways...
