Jackson Pro Am
Has anyone heard the plan with the not so good weather forecast? Would really like to come but unless the forecast has a turnaround it doesn't look good.

Arthritus in my thumb has been real bad. Can't get more than an hour of work done till it stops me. I'll try to make the Darlington race if weather permits. |
Re: Jackson Pro Am
I dunno. Hopefully IHRA will make a decision soon. It's between 40% and 60% chance of rain each day. I wanna race!!!! Jim

Re: Jackson Pro Am
I spoke to div 2 director today, he informed me that they are going to make an announcement tomorrow afternoon whether to hold the event or postpone it. IHRA is also running out of weekends to hold the pro ams fast.

Emily just an FYI, Cameron wanted to call it on Thursday at Farmington but were told they couldn't and were made to open and attempt it. |
Re: Jackson Pro Am
Weather is looking a lot better, hopefully it'll keep getting better so there can be a good turnout.:)

Re: Jackson Pro Am
Weather is looking better. And I've got the car making noise. I'll probably be there.
Also will the T&T on Friday be 1/4 mile? I might go Thursday night if the T&T on the 1/4 mile. I tried to call got a recording. |

The test & tune on Friday will be 1/4 mile (if you want). I need to make some tuning changes for the quarter mile stuff. I can't do it in the 1/8 mile do to less load on the motor. After I'm in high gear (around the eight mile mark) the load is stable and I can tune it. Just made my hotel reservations in Augusta. |

Re: Jackson Pro Am
Yes Herbie I know they wanted to cancel and I personally thanked Amanda for all they tried to do to make it happen. Problem is they are getting bad name based on the last 2yrs at that track when both times it was Satch making poor decisions.
I only wanted people to support the Miles family because they are truly trying to help us out too. Difference is they are dealing with another tech director. |
