Just a quick note,,,,,,,,I want everyone to keep a couple of our Midwest Class Racers in your prayers this week.....John Mcleod who has been so instrumental in raising funds for our group is having a surgical procedure done this am......and Bill Wittstruck is going to be having some work done. we are all getting older and have to keep everyone racing that we have..thanks and we will see everyone at Kearney Bryan stk511

Re: Roll call kearney national open
Just got off the phone with Dale Johnson (John McLeod partner in his stock elim car and long time freind) Dale said the surgery went well - Wishing John a speedy recovery! Just to set the record straight Midwest Class Racers would not be what it is today without Johns involvement. Allso wishing our good freind Bill Whitstruck well on his upcoming surgery. Good Luck to all at Kearney- another MCR fantastic payout race.

This is another race I plan on racing, before my days are through. Just can't make it this year. I would like to take our Roadrunner, it knows its way down the Kearney track from the 70's

Re: Roll call kearney national open

The V/SA Buick went back to Aberdeen and the Olds is coming apart! Going a new direction. 'Cuda is being built. It is going to be a busy winter.
Good luck to everyone going. I hope the weather cooperates! #5457 Curt Rees |
Re: Roll call kearney national open
Hey Curt;;;;;;;;CUDA???????
|
Re: Roll call kearney national open
Yes sir! Found my 69 A56 340 'Cuda, 4 speed, 3:91 Sure Grip notch back that I ordered and took delivery of in May of 1969! It is numbers matching and is sitting in my garage! See the post under nostalgia on little a bodies terrors for the story.
Jerry Ryan has the engine. Just going to build it for the street. It will be a driver. The plan is to be at Thunder Valley, Marion SD, for the 50th anniversary with the car. I was there the day it opened and want to go down the track with the 'Cuda at the 50th anniversary race. #5457 Curt Rees |

Re: Roll call kearney national open
Below is the link to the results from Saturday nights Stock Super Stock Combo race. Sorry for the lower quality on the pictures, not using flash.
http://www.krpi.com/Results/2013%20R...ocksscombo.htm Saturday had perfect weather, had 61 cars that qualified, not sure how many records were set. Was told three, just don`t know if they made the backup times needed. Tomorrow looks to be the same weather. Will have complete results from Sunday as soon as I can. Tim |

Re: Roll call kearney national open
I want to thank Midwest Class Racers for having this event. There are a lot of cars here. What's really cool are the amount of stick cars here this weekend.
Congratulations to Mike Koppien on winning the Saturday event. Sean |
