Here's my news. I didn't hit either wall, or any timer blocks....luckily. I am now loaded up and home and have had a few beers to calm the nerves. :)

Carey, sorry the hounds and I couldn't make it.

"All out" Bruno didn't think you lifted, cause he never lifts, unless its a 90 + pound German Shepard....or his Sister Belle.

"Holding Some" Belle thought you almost pulled a "Packleader" and did a wall ride with you treasured car...and therefore must have lifted....thats what she would do...but she the bright one.

Glad you made it out ok, sounds like track was too cold for that beast....the bounding beagle would have liked it like last year I am sure.

Back to work(which kept me away) you should finish up your DEPENDS sponsorship talks so you can do the whole national event schedule next year.

Eric

Full results are now up on Drag Race Central. They had to run the second qualifier Sunday morning because of rain Saturday, making for a long day and we did not get the data files from Jay Hullinger until this morning.

They are in the Drag News section of DRC.

Ernie,

I was loaded up and ready to go Friday but I had some last minute issues come up at our business. The truck and trailer went back in the shop and my weekend was over unfortunately. Congrats to you and David as well as all the new record holders!

My new friend, Mikael Lind got the D/SA record, after it went back to a minimum. Mikael is the only European to ever hold an NHRA national record. Mikael is from Sweden. Congratulations buddy.

Haha, I was definitely all out Bruno on that pass. I've been short shifting the 1-2 shift really bad so I beat it in my head to not shift or lift until I saw the shift light in 1st, of course that's when the car finally decides to spin the tire hard. It went from clutch locked up at 6800 to 10,500 in .4 seconds. Would've of been nice to see you and hounds again, but I understand it's not a really quick trip for you.

Thanks. There was daylight under the left rear too as it was heading towards the left wall, before heading towards the right wall. 2.2g's lateral (on the skid pad), :) ZR1 doesn't have anything on the S2000…haha.
