When you get up north in Ky it goes from winduur's to windur's,then a little further north it becomes window's
We also have battreees (batterys) and corebaitur (carburetor)LOL
The way I see it how it is pronouced where you live is the correct way.

And in Mississippi;
Go get the yeller pillur by the windur, I need to worsh it.

I had an English/language arts teacher in high school that refered to Indiana slang terms as the "Indiana lazy lip". We tend to leave off letters, combine words ann add "uh" to words. Examples fixin, travelin. Off-en(could be for often or off and), then there is "anduh"

Re: Cobra Jet "Power Winduurs"

Everythink = everything in Ontario and don't even get me started on newf or "Cape Bretonese"

I grew up around a lot of french and a common one was "I step on mon speedaire" (I step on the gas pedal)

There was a rich french guy who was talking to a contractor about building his house, "I wan da white dere in da kitchen eh? oh says the contractor, marble in the kitchen, sure, got it. An, I wan a big piss in, in da yard eh? Um..oh, piscine, a pool, you want a pool in the back yard, got it. An, I wan da "ello statue" in ever room ok?
The contractor not wanting to seem "less cultured" assumed he was a big art collector and said "sure, "ello statue" in every room, got it. After two weeks of work he was still looking for this "ello statue", not able to find it in any art shows etc. The house is finally finished and he still can't find it so instead he gets a Madonna statue for every room. He holds his breath as the rich french guy walks though his new house. AH! he says, da Madonna, is good, I like. He keeps looking around then says, I say ello statue in ever room, where dey is? Blushing, the contractor confesses he wasn't able to find the "ello statue" anywhere. He looked as far as Paris to London and he just couldn't find one let alone one for every room, he was so sorry but he just couldn't get any.

The rich french guy looked at him strangely, I want ello statue in ever room...you know, ring,ring and you speak, ello statue?:)

I always enjoyed how Canadians pronounced words. Like about...ahboot.

It's no wonder English is so hard to learn with so many different forms of it. Then you get to talk to a British guy about a al-you-mini-um bonnet and how it's just ducky on the Zed-28.
