Re: Stockers on the Cover
Since some have said they don't do facebook I thought I'd share this thought. In the last Nat Drag of the year the editorial was about the New Nat Drag and also the surprise the staff had that so many of the subscribers had not registered for the online version. So in an effort to reach out to those not registered one of the things they did was they reached out on Twitter. I could be wrong, but I would guess that the same group that has not registered for the online version is likely not on twitter. I hope my life is never boring enough that I have to be on twitter to follow what others are doing. I do a little facebook but mostly to see photos family and friends post. I don't "like" when someone tells me to. I don't "like" period. If I see something I like, that's it. I don't feel it necessary to tell others I liked it. I don't post on my timeline or others timelines under threat of defriending, burning in h--l or what ever the treat.
Guess I'm just too old for all that. |

PRI has had Stockers on the cover a couple of other times in the last few years.

Re: Stockers on the Cover
I'm anti-social .(media) lol Don't need to know what others are thinking or doing every second. Also sick of all the "P C" BS. Example: A guy on TV says the word pervert and it makes the headlines on National news. Really? Now he has to spend a week on damage control, so he don't lose his 15 minutes of fame. People need to toughen up. Where is Archie Bunker when you need him. We used to laugh it off and look at whos doing the talking. Oh, I almost forgot LIKE Thx. E

Re: Stockers on the Cover
I would have 'liked' it and commented.
Did you happen to see the Official NHRA post...the question(s) were: What's your favorite Sportsman class and who do you think will win it this year? That's a first for NHRA....giving a little ink for the Sportsman on FB. I regularly comment on their posts stating that they overdo it about the Pros, and should dedicate some comments to Sportsman classes. My opinion. If everyone who class races and is on FB would do the same...its another venue to express our thoughts to NHRA in a constructive way and a forum they can not ignore. Maybe they would start a Sportsman FB page. |
Re: Stockers on the Cover
Not to hijack, but did you see your Olds on the BracketRacing.com site on Facebook the other day Daryl? (SP?)
