Am I hallucinating or is the NHRA charging me $10,310 to enter Gainesville? Has anyone else experienced this?

$100.00 Add Insurance
$10,000.00 Add Membership

Whenever we 'get' to buy something else, someone always says, "Look, it's the cost of racing. There's so many other things to complain about. It's only $'xxx' more. If you can't afford it, maybe you should just quit racing." :rolleyes:

While it's obviously a typo, it does illustrate the point that a little bit here and a little bit there becomes a mountain over time. Boiling frog syndrome.

The same people that managed HeathCare.gov must be taking care of NHRA's website. They just added the Obamatax.....rob from the rich racers and pass it on to the poor....LOL

Maybe you're getting the "premier" membership, which includes 48 issues of ND delivered in the mail every year.

The IRS requires estimated taxes be paid quarterly, perhaps NHRA has gone to making racers pay estimated fines in advance also!

Anyone else notice that it says Race 3 of 23 in the "POWERade" Drag Racing Series? I am pretty sure that page is messed up in more than 1 way from the screen shots they showed there...
