I can't believe the season started already.... I just realized Winternationals came and went this past weekend.... I left the house this morning and it was 2 degrees.... a foot of snow on the ground - and another foot expected Thurs

Ok to all Drag Racers Only> Move to Arizona it will be 77 degrees today and then 78 the next day with great weather for the next race . Move here during the winter and back East during the Summer or move here all the time and go racing back East when it is 115 degrees during the Summer when we are all out shoveling Sunshine :D

That's cold Don, really cold - 11 degrees right now, with a low of 7. And 16 inches of snow coming for Thursday.
Ok what does a condo go for out there? Nothing fancy....

I know what your feeling . There is no mercy for the northeast this year. What is really depressing is what snow we have does not melt. Just shut off the gloom and doom ....Weather Channel !:eek:

You still can find some great deals if you are patient , especially in a area called Apache Junction , where there rebels people live lol
Fly out and I will pick you up and we will get a realtor to find a cool pace to buy plus a place to park your rig, heck we might even find some land and build some condos for racers only with parking lol

Find an old airport but instead of a 'air park' build a 'racer park'. 1/8, 330' mile runs when ever you feal like it :-) 18/ 9 hole golf course would be nice. Gun range too.

Ok, sorry. Drifted off into fantasy land and got crazy for a minute. Must be the f'in winter!

You want to be in Florida for the winter. We have lots of racing going on down here from the end of Jan. Through May. You would want to be south of Orlando for the warmest weather. I am working in Miami this winter and have only worn a jacket to work about 4 days this winter. I cant imagine what you all go through each winter up there. Good luck with the upcoming storm and stay safe.

Just to remind my friends on the East Coast of how pleasant the weather is in Arizona........here is a picture of the tomatoes that we picked today and a picture of the grapefruit that are ready to come off the tree.

Racers wanted an earlier start to the season for tune ups so Pacific Raceways is going to open it's Test n Tune this Sunday if it doesn't rain. No way I'll be ready but I'll go check it out if they get the runs in.

I have relatives in Arizona and I'm retired. Maybe when I get going I can crash with them in the Winter and coin a new term - Snow Burner -

Arizona is full of "Snow Birds" right now.....it starts right after Thanksgiving and they usually leave by mid March....Snow Birds are never in a hurry....LOL....obviously nothing to do except enjoy the weather....I enjoy talking with them when I go to the store, because I have nothing to do except enjoy the weather......LOL (Just kidding)

I've had enough of this winter in Oklahoma, then I see what the poor people on the East Coast are dealing with. I don't know how they cope with it. They are tougher than myself. Got up to 50 degrees here yesterday. Still have snow on the deck around the pool, the rest is gone. Supposed to be in the 60s for the next 8 to 14 days. Track rental Tuesday for testing. Maybe this crap is over.
