We are on our way! We left out from Gainesville about 7:30 this morning in the rain. It started raining about 3 and I sure was glad we had moved up to the pavement last night. It looked like most everyone who was still there had moved since we knew the rain was coming. It has rained almost all the time since we left. We should be getting to the track or Jimmy Hidalgo's by 5-6 this evening. Looking forward to crawfish and shrimp!!

Most of the rain-postponed late rounds from the Division 2 opener at Royal Purple Raceway will be run at Belle Rose, not sure of the schedule for those in the already-busy SPORTSnational schedule.

For someone who knows how to post it better than I do, the daily event schedule has been posted onto nhradiv4.com under the daily event info tab. It's "Plan A" for Friday and Saturday with of course Sunday being the day of the national. If someone can figure out how to post it, they can put it here.

We got to Jimmy's about 6:30 last night, then went to dinner with Mike and Janie Braswell who are staying here also. Then I never even looked at the computer when we got back. I have heard they are stacking at the track, but we haven't been out there yet. We plan to go this morning. I will let you know something after we get there. Or if there is anyone out there now, please let us know what is going on!

We are in, parked and set up for the week! We are down on the curve facing the track for afternoon shade! Right now it is a little windy, sunny and cool. There are maybe 20 rigs in here now. Most came from Gainesville. Looking to be a nice week. About 20-30% chance of a little rain Sat and Sun. I'm sure they have the stuff to deal with it here! Well we are going out to one of our favorite restaurants tonight--Landry's Seafood in Pierre Part.

We are on the way .Made it to Jackson MS this morning and did some Truck Stop Camping.

We will be in Scooter Helms old Rolling Man Cave RV we had purchased from him. Racing our Nova in E Stick.

We got the engine in and it did run so we are way ahead of our normal schedule for Belle Rose!
Nothing like pushing a deadline! LOL.

I'm leaving after work today, this is a day sooner than every other time I've gone down there! Dad is going this time around, it'll be the first time he's ever been down so he's really looking forward to it. See you guys tomorrow

Beautiful day here in Belle Rose. Clear blue sky and going up to 74 today! There is a steady stream of rigs pulling in.

It has remained a gorgeous day all day! The place is really filling up. They had test and tune today and will have it again tomorrow from 1-6 for $75.

A little birdie told me today that 2 members of the Division 5 Chevy II stocker brigade are headed South to take some names...
Jim & Linda Parsons along with John & Rosie Hladky are en route to Houma as we speak. Patsy, it would be cool if you could post some pics of my mentors...and look out, F/S!

Wish we were there with you, our 2 trips to the Cajun Sports have been some of our best racing expiriences. Swamp tour, unbelievable "new to us" food to try, and hospitality 2nd to none. Thanks for bringing us close to the action.

It is another great day here in LA. It is a little overcast with the sun shining thru. Tech is going on. An "Alarm Stocker" woke me up promptly at 8 am. This is the last day to sleep in, so now I understand the annoyance others have whenever we stockers wake them up bright and early! I am going to get some pics later today and we are also testing.

Did they move the Alabama? It was always further away and perpendicular to I-10. If so, I look forward to going out that way again for a better view. Just never felt comfortable trying to stop there with a trailer in tow.
