Prayers for RJ Sledge
 

RJ is in the hospital right now with a burst appendix. Fortunately it stayed out of his blood stream, and he is expected to make a recovery. So if everyone could keep RJ in your prayers and thoughts, I know he would appreciate that. I will post when I know more.

I had that about 25 years ago, it's sure not a lot of fun, worse if you wait three days like me. It's a fairly simple operation and he should have a quick recovery. I recall being back at work the same week.

RJ is doing better. Still the same ole RJ, full of bs and giving the nurses a hard time. Still has a little pain, but nothing like the last couple days. Waiting on swelling to go down so he can have surgery.

I just spoke with R.J. he is doing much better and may get to go home in a day or two treating appendix with antibiotics he will have a CT tomorrow to see how it is healing up.Sounded in good sprits and said thanks for all the prayers that were sent.

I talked to RJ this afternoon. They are going to check his blood tommorrow and if all goes well he will get to go home.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the prayers and well wishes from everyone. Got home this afternoon, feeling much better. Really means a lot to me for all the responses, email and phone calls.

I learned an important lesson.....listen to your wife more.
