Ok, I got the thread started. Now who's gonna help keep it going? I'll post pix and "stuff" as Internet and time allows. Looking forward to some "hot" racing action this weekend.

We loaded the Monte last night. Mom and dad's anniversary today. He thought it might be wise to leave the car alone for just one night. :D Hope the rain stays away, or it could be miserably humid!

Anyone know the run schedule for tomorrow?
I'm hoping they start in the afternoon and finish in the evening so I can come watch after work. I would love to avoid taking PTO.

No, working out of the country earlier in the year has really screwed up getting to the track. So far we have been to Topeka twice to test this month, and that's it. We are headed for Dallas this weekend for family stuff. Looks like Earlville open will be the first race, then Topeka divisional x2.

I am looking forward to seeing you guys sometime this year.
Heck you are not even at the track and the Live Reporting is looking like a promising career!

Finally made it. Lots of cars going down the track. T&T was to be over by 6, but extended until 8. Looks to be a fun weekend of racing!

Tyler Cassill was here today making some test laps in Tom Cain's "new" Super Stock Cavalier. BEAUTIFUL car! Tom will be driving this weekend. Mike and Jeff Town, Ed Wright, Michael Compton, Timmy Nicholson, Gary Stinnett, Korey Mahee (I think), to name a few I saw or talked to tonight. Good to see Stuart Goertzen back out with his D/S Cougar. We weren't there very long. Tech closed at 6, and that was about when we rolled in. Many more cars here, but don't know how many yet. We'll be back at it at 8 am and will have more photos and "info" as the day progresses.

Can you believe they aren't starting until 10:00am?? Wasting two of the coolest hours of the day, then running TWO rounds of SS eliminations Stauturday? How many SS cars do they really think they are going to have? smh

Just called Super Street to the lanes. About time!! We're off and running here in Tulsa. Very humid, but the air is still cool. We'll see how the cars react.

I know starting late isn't good for the racers already there but the more late you guys are, that s the more time I have to see some racing tonight. I'll be racing from work to catch the end of qualifying. And thanks for the updates and photos, it's very much appreciated.

That's great! I haven't had time to look. Been a hot, busy day so far. Crank trigger decided it was done first thing this morning. First run, had a bad miss that was a result of 2 bad plug wires. 2nd run, clutch too soft and I think we need a new set of slicks. 3rd run tonight will tell us something. Inverted schedule tomorrow with Super Stock kicking it off at 10.

Stacy was driving Ron Stewart's Max Wedge car and the cam lost a lobe from a regrind. I bet they didnt heat treat after.

Sorry to hear Lynn! Hate to see anyone have to push a car. Period.

We had a better 3rd run. Added a little clutch and it picked up .16. Air was 500 ft worse than this afternoon, according to our weather station, so take it as you will. Getting more clutch in the morning and we should pick up several more. Still not where the HP says it should be, which is encouraging. Gaining all the time. Pix are coming!
