Thanks.

Mary Ann Method's Camaro (H/SA 6111) broke it's front end on launch during Q2 Friday and kissed the wall after a valiant effort to keep it on the track. Some body damage to the drivers side but no harm to her other than being really ticked off.

Nice pics! Good to know that Mary Ann is OK.

Re: Kinda Live from Seattle NW Nationals

Sounds like a wild ride for Mary Ann. Glad to hear they got the car ready for today, must have been quite a thrash. Best part is that Mary Ann is O.K. I am sure several of the racers either helped or made their help available.

Good to see Troy and the wagon get a single for round 1, hope he puts it in the air for the fans of Super Stock.

Dale, loved your pictures from the Combo race last weekend.

Good luck to all today and tomorrow, stay cool and run good. See you all at the next combo race on the 9th.

We are headed, in about an hour, to Vancouver , Wa. to help celebrate the 95th birthday of my wife's uncle.

Quick update about time to warm them up. Heads up races in stock are Angela Bushmaker and Greg Marshall both cars are fast should be a great race if both are green. Also John gaynor and Pete oliviero but Pete I believe broke a rear end yesterday don't know if he got it fixed. SS heads up randy loge and Kelly thomas SS/KA.

Toby; great videos as usual. How about an update on what you're up to. trying to get info from Jody is like squeezing blood from a turnip- no offense Jody.

Toby, good to see you at work doing videos. Great job, sure have missed them. I hope everything is going well for you. I've talked to Jody a couple of times, but have missed talking with you.

Dale, nice job on the pictures. Yes Mary Ann's car doesn't look to bad after seeing it. Very lucky for her, could have been MUCH worse.

Just got home about an hour ago from celebrating the 95th birthday of my wife's uncle. Had a great time and Ray (the uncle) says he's only 59 by reversing the numbers. So, I guess I'm only 46 applying that theory. I feel better already.

Anyway, looks like a very good weekend of racing. Anybody, what was the temperature at the track each day?? Just curious.

I didn't have a great seat for today (Sunday). A fence kept messing with the focus of my camera so some of these are from previous days.

According to DRC, it was 117 degrees for all three rounds of Stock today. Started at 105-107 for first round of the pros, 115 second round, 117 for pro semis and the Sportsman stuff, 118 for the pro finals. That is what the starter posted on the Mello Yello barrel for each round.

Dale, I bailed at 3 cars. Mick Alley was R/U.

Also, Best Engineered went to an orange Maverick owned by Randy Mincks that he raced in S/C. Although I'm sure Gary Ermish would've gladly accepted the award!

Thanks for the pics!

It was hot up there. Sorry for the errors. I fixed the Stock RU but managed to miss most of S/Comp so I didn't have a photo of the Maverick. At least the one I posted was orange...

Thanks Larry for the update. Those must be track temps, but shows it was definitely warm there. We were in Vancouver, Wa. on Saturday by the Columbia river and it was very warm there. Got chance to go out to Astoria, Or. and then up to Long Beach, Wa. for awhile on the way home and it was in the upper 60's there, very nice for my wife.

As some on here know she is dealing with cancer and can't be out in the heat very long. Overall she is doing well and we just celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary on the 27th of July, so this was a little get away for us. Had an AWESOME time with her and all the relatives.

Hey Jody, I know you wanted a win, but semi's is not bad. Glad to see that Toby was there doing his video work. Say Hi for me.

Good job to all that went rounds but I'm somewhat surprised there has been no comments of the starting line condition on Sunday.
It was funny listening in and the commentator had no idea about a car spinning on the leave, "Oh, I've never seen a car leave like that before, what could be wrong"
I think all the 9" tire gang had problems, stick guys loved it but I'm thinking the SS guys where OK ??

Had a couple of S/SS cars die on launch over the weekend but Sunday seemed OK to me. But I'm a spectator. One car pulled the wheels coming to the line and either shut down or was nixed by the starter and Angie Bushmaker stalled after the water box burn against the Fletcher kid.

Different story for the nitro and alky boys, though. They either hooked or didn't. Too many oil downs, too.

Dale
