Did a nice job of driving today. He earned it for sure. He took out 2 Bushmakers, a Mike, a Mick and a Casey. Got a bye run and one round of luck. He got them at the right times. That always helps.

Congrats Mr. Tim. Just imagine the history that would have been made if your dad could have doubled up in S/S and Comp. 3 Sportsman eliminator winners by 2 family members. If it's gonna happen, it will be by the Fletcher Family.

Also they showed to be class act when Angela Bushmaker's car shut down after the burnout and was trying to restart the car.

Dan told Tim to shut down the car and wait for her.

Nevertheless, the NHRA starter directed Tim to proceed with the run.
Missed opportunity to watch two great young upcoming racers run against each other.

Congratulations to Tim and Dan for a job well done!

Congrats Tim and the Fletcher Racing Team! Have a safe trip to Minnesota ... Land of 10,000 taxes , lakes , potholes per mile, but I digress. See you soon. The long drive after a big win isn't so long after all...or so I'm told.:)

Got to be cool racing with Dad. And a win each on their west coast western swing right?

Didn’t enter Denver, Tim lost in round 2 of SS in Sonoma and Dan won Stock. Tim lost in round one of SS in Seattle and won Stock. Tim was 1 for 3 on the Western Swing.

Tim isn’t Dan and these adulation threads would embarrass me if I was his father. He has a ways to go and a few hundred more rounds to win. Keep it real.

We just got home last night from the jaunt out west. 16 days gone, 8 of which were spent traveling. I've had better times, lol. Thank God we won something!

Timbo wanted me to tell everyone thanks for the congrats! He brought the trophy home on the plane from Minnesota with him, wasn't going to risk someone breaking into the motor home, lol.

And Mr. FireSail...
Embarrassed because a handful of people congratulated him on winning his first national event? Probably not the word I'd use. The Fletcher kid, as you so eloquently put it, kept his composure with a car that was having issues and hit the tree in the final. Over the top proud would be little more accurate. So very sorry to disappoint you.

I would like to send my congrats to Tim. Anyone who wins an event, regardless of what they did at the last one or who his father is, still gets my respect. Great job young man. Good luck in the future

Dan, Mr FireSail's post was so idiotic that it didn't deserve a response.

Re: Congrats to "Fletcher" No not Dan!!!!!

To win just one race is a huge accomplishment, especially these days. Winning 1 out of 3 would be what most racers could only deeply hope for.

Congrats to Tim and family.
