My ex race car in St.Louis

Any of you that are in St.Louis this weekend for the points race go by and introduce yourselves to Marvin Benoit who bought my car. He runs Quick Fuel, lives in Bowling Green and is an all around good guy. Marvin has raced Super Gas for years and is getting in a Stocker for the first time.

Marvin was at the Bottom Bulb Battle in Bowling Green this past weekend. Quick Fuel does a lot for sportsman racing, including sponsoring the Quick 32 at the Class Nationals. It's great to have him in the trenches with us!

I really enjoyed watching your Camaro and talking to you briefly at Columbus last May.
What are you going to bring to the event next year?

Was this car at the last Combo race at Bowling Green? If it is the same car it definately goes like a bat out of hell!

Bernie, I do miss her. I had that car for more than 20 years. I am not quitting completely because for the near time I have my son Andrew's car in Louisville that I can race some and will take it to races for him to race some. I've found I have just as much fun being Andrew's crew chief as I do racing. I will be racing Andrew's car at the points race in Bowling Green.

What happen to Marvin at bg? They tried to make a run And it never made a pass under power? Sounded like tranny issues?

Coming from someone who needs to pick up a half second to be competitive,I was wondering how this car LOST over a half second from what it usually runs?

I would like to know that too. Two weeks ago on the day I sold the car it went 10.67 @ 122.

Would the 71 motor be different than the 70?

New owner, new category. There can be a million different reasons for the poor performance. Perhaps you should ask Marvin?

My old car... Off 7 tenths from when I sold it.
Bruce is right. Could be a million different reasons, but that's why I like to sell them right at the track, if possible.
