The last time I saw Jim Hale race I remember looking at the hood of his car...from directly behind his car as I sat in my 55 chev in Topeka in the burnout box. His HEMI Plymouth launched showing off its hood in its entirety.One of those racing memories that gets automatically imprinted in your memory. No one else had my perspective. I am thankful for such experiences and the memories they provide. What are your best memories?

59 S/SS cars here today. The track was great, and the weather too! Hats off to those that set records and to the crew here for constant track prep. Tomorrow should be the same with the weather.

Thanks for posting link to track results posting. They have pics and round results back to 3rd round I believe, very cool and nice pictures. If any one can tell me how to resize photos on an iphone I have pics of what must have been first qualifying round qualifying sheet, friend at track sent to me, has 67 cars on it and Mr. Hale on the top

First round made it in the books. Shortly after the S/SS cars made it down the track and a few throttle stop cars , then came the rain. There were only 59 S/SS cars this weekend. A few from last year did not make it.

Ok, Sunday was not good to all the racers that came out this weekend. On behalf of Kearney Raceway Park, Thanks to everyone that came out and hope we see you again next year. Everyone enjoy the off season and, for those that are still chasing points, Good Luck.
