Sportsman mechanic
Div 2 or 3 racers that may need a hand in the pits. I love class racing but I have learned that the only way I can do it is work!! I am able to travel. Part time or full time!! Please share with anyone that may need a crewman.

Re: Sportsman mechanic
Always told RodNut that if I ever won the lottery I was getting him away from Bertozzi. You're next on the list. Guess I need to start playing. ;)
For anyone that doesn't know Phil, he's a jump-right-in-there, give you the shirt off his back, hard working guy. When Lisa Bolton broke a rear at the Tournament of Champions one year, they didn't even know each other, but Phil's under the car barely after it comes to a stop at their trailer, wrenchin' away, "Hi, I'm Phil!", and they busted it out in no time. |
Re: Sportsman mechanic
Micheal thanks for the kind words.

Re: Sportsman mechanic
I am job hunting. I still offer my free help to anyone at anytime when I am racing. I just want to work in the industry full time. Concrete is getting tough at my age

Phil- I remember you telling me about how concrete work was beating your body up while we were under the car that day. Hope you find a gig. Whoever ends up with you as a crew member will not regret it!! Good Luck Eddie Bolton |
Re: Sportsman mechanic
Showed up at the Class Nationals still needing to put the converter in his car, too, if I recall! Dude is not afraid of work. Or travel. Raced with him from Ohio to Florida.

Re: Sportsman mechanic
Hey, for what it's worth, I like the guy. He's a good racer, he's not afraid to work and get his hands dirty, he's not as dumb as he looks and (most important) he loves to absorb knowledge!

Re: Sportsman mechanic
Phil will work,he can drive and he can entertain, whatever he does he does wide open, except the finish line.

Re: Sportsman mechanic
Traveling and staying out on the road for long periods of time isn't a problem. Very motivated to stay in the racing industry.

Re: Sportsman mechanic
I like to win also. Not only do I want to work I want the cars and team to win. I understand that a lot of success starts in the pits.

Re: Sportsman mechanic
Phil will def. give you the shirt off his back... He fix your trans in the pits then wear you out on the track.. lol
Anyone looking he is an EXCELLLENT candidate.. Not afraid to work at all.... |
Re: Sportsman mechanic
The man is unconscious when it come to work. He's definitely not afraid of it and he has you in tear the whole time lol.
Honestly the Butner and Skillman teams would be crazy to pass you up as they will need all the help they can get going Pro Stock racing next year. Phil you should change the title of this thread and delete the "Sportsman" part of it because I think you are cutting yourself short just fishing in the sportsman waters. |
