.000 Lights for both Competitors

First round in Stock yesterday both myself and my competitor had .000 reaction times.
I ran right on the dial and he was .01 under.

Has anyone else every had a round with both sides of track .000 in reaction
time?

You are in good company - 2014 Finals, Pro Stock semifinal round:

E Enders-Stevens, Right lane, (0.000) 6.494 213.67 def. J Gray, (0.000) 6.524 212.29

and on a Pro tree!

John,

As a track announcer I see thousands of runs per season, I can't recall a pair of .000 lights during a run. Quite an accomplishment, frame that time slip! Great job.

John - I listened to your race live on audiocast. NHRA announcer went nuts! Great drag race.

I'm going to do some digging and see if I can find the answer to this. I know a few years ago at Gainesville, Larry Hill and Cooter were both .007 in a round together. That same year, Beard and Antrobius were both .005 in a round at Norwalk. Going to have to reach further into the vault.

Believe that I heard it over the PA this weekend at the big bracket race at No Problem Raceway, last night I think during the Gambler's race...I think.

The most amazing lite package had to at Brainerd in 2011 when Terry Johnson had an average lite of .007 thru 6 rounds and lost in the final to Randy Hopkins [.000]

James Fontana and I both had .000 lights in the first or second round at the Lebanon Valley points race a couple years ago.

Billy Leber and I were .000 side by side first qualifying run of Super Stock at Toronto one year -- the first year they'd switched from the .500 standard to .000 standard, and they didn't used to show significant digits on the scoreboard. When we left, the scoreboards were just blank. Thought something messed up, until we got our timeslips! LOL

OOps, you beat me to it. No need to jog my memory with the e-mail. I couldn't remember the details. Was that after you caught me under the car (& booted me) when I was adjusting the shocks? ;~) fun times!!
