We're running 2 pure stockers this year...'70 chevelle-G and H/PS and '72 Camaro-C and D/PS #9242 on both!

Not us. All of our events that are close are during softball season (I coach HS varsity softball). Also, not happy with IHRA asking me to take out ALL of the nitrous wiring, etc. We run some heads-up Super Chevy stuff in Dallas and Houston and I offered to take the bottles, etc. out and make sure the remaining electrical wiring was hidden but they said it all must come out.

The kid will running the entire IHRA Div 2 schedule. Kenny Anderson, C/PS 93 Z28, 2X61


Add in brackets and the Southern Stock/Super Stock tour. Team Anderson been HOPPIN this year already.

Not sure when I will run right now only pure stock might run is at class nationals,NHRA schedule is a lot closer to home.when I do will be F/PS

They sure are which is why we'll take our legal Stocker, which easily runs a second under anywhere, and go run in the 9s on nitrous at Super Chevy events and be treated very well. IHRA has plenty of Stockers so they won't miss a penny of our money. Oh wait ...

Still working on mine, hope to be finished in next month or so. '94 Mustang. Have not decided G, H, or I yet. Would like to make at least a couple of races this year.

You could always just spend a little time and rewire your nitrous harness with quick disconnects so that everything unplugs in a matter of minutes.
I'm sure you understand the reasoning for the rule, and should appreciate the fact that they are enforcing it.

A slip on the ice and resulting major knee surgery has de-railed my racing plans, at least for the first half of the season.

Thanks. It's a 4 month rehab. Gives me plenty of time to work on the car, not that it'll go any faster after that :D

Wow what a great Response !
Looks like a great year for Pure Stock.

I had shoulder surgery October 2014.
Now both left and right are done but long way from 100%
These things do not heal quickly. Lots of Ice and therapy.
Right one was done in Feb 2013.

Finally restarting CrossFit/Kettlebells and Cardio Calisthenics classes.
Focus is KB Swings, Squats, WOP, Situps, Box Jumps, angled pullups.
Beginning to do push-ups and Burpies again.
Alternate on treadmill, elliptical and running for soccer season.

May move up to F/PS.
Making a few performance changes for 2015.
Cannot let that Jim Reynolds Chevelle wax me on heads up.;-0
Most popular Pure Stock Classes are F - G - H or C - D.

If it is not in the Rule Book, it has to be legal.

Galloping Ghost is considering Pure Stock, Cool !
That Corvair of yours is still awesome.

Hope more Pure Stock drivers respond...
Need to up date the list and get more pictures into the Photo Gallery.
It is one of the largest on Class Racer.

Pure Stock Question:
If we were to have one huge Pure Stock only Race weekend.
Where is a good Track to race where most of us can get to it?
Would like to invite PureStockDrag.com cars too.

THANKS guys!! Kid did good. Took out some killers along the way. He just turned 17 three weeks ago. The car was killer consistent all weekend. So far we LOVE racing stock!
