Condolences to Rusty Johnson
 

Ron Johnson, Father of Division II Stock Eliminator racer Rusty Johnson passed away suddenly yesterday. Many of you will remember him as he attended quite a few of the races with Rusty. He was a class act and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Please tell me this isn't true. He was a good man and I always enjoyed joking around with him at the track. When I first met him he introduced himself as Rusty's younger brother and that's how I always referred to him from then on.
We lost another good one and I'm sure he's up there with Rob Toren tuning on some Fords.

Rusty so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing, he was quite a guy and always bought a smile to everyone's face.

I will always remember the gag he pulled on me with the ladys undergarment that he said he found in the back seat of my truck.

Rusty.... man I am so sorry to hear about your dad. What a great guy and fun to be around. I remember he and my dad (RIP) swapping tales when we were wiring your shop. And who could forget those big girl drawers he carried in his pit bike!

He will be greatly missed.
