Dixie hemi crashed Wednesday night at cecil county dragway at finish line. Was wondering if anybody heard how driver is doing and what caused it?

Driver is beat up but ok.. cause is still being determined.

No that is not the case. A trans issue in the traps. He recovering and has no broken parts. The car is done.

Penny- I really don't care what happened down there, just thankful that Daves all right! Dave IS a true gentleman and about as good as it gets. One of my favorite people to bs with at the races and hopefully I'll see him at the Dutch.

Glad Dave is ok. I don't think anyone said anything out of line in this thread about the crash??? There is only one way to get the facts out there and that is for those that know the facts to put them out there....

Glad nobody got hurt badly, sharing accurate information with other racers to avoid a similar accident/problem is always appreciated and most welcome.

Lookin at the car,and talking to Dave, he feels sure nothing failed during the pass engine or suspension. All body and running gaer damage was after hitting wall. Not real sure what went wrong at this time. It will take a lot more investigation to under cover the cause. Thank God for Kenny,s roll cage. Dave is beat up and very sore, but he'll be back soon.

Glad Dave's ok . So sorry to here about the car , really nice cuda .I know how much he was looking falward to Indy's hemi shoot out .
